Begin by finding a comfortable seated position or lying down in a quiet space where you won't be disturbed. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths, allowing your body to relax with each exhale.
• Bring your awareness to your heart center, placing one hand over your heart if it feels comforting to do so. Take a moment to connect with the physical sensations in your chest, noticing any tightness or heaviness.
• As you continue to breathe deeply, imagine a soft, healing light surrounding your heart. Visualize this light as a warm, comforting energy that gently penetrates any areas of pain or sadness within your heart.
• With each inhale, imagine drawing in this healing light, allowing it to fill your heart with love and compassion. With each exhale, imagine releasing any tension or negativity stored within your heart space.
• As you breathe, repeat a healing affirmation to yourself, such as "I am worthy of love and happiness" or "I am healing with each breath." Let these words sink into your being, reminding yourself of your inherent worthiness and capacity for healing.
• Allow yourself to feel whatever emotions arise without judgment. If tears come, let them flow freely, knowing that each tear carries with it a release of pain and a step towards healing.
• If memories or thoughts related to your broken heart surface, acknowledge them with gentleness and compassion. Visualize these thoughts and emotions floating away like clouds in the sky, leaving behind a sense of peace and serenity.
• With each breath, imagine your heart becoming lighter and more open, like a flower unfolding its petals in the warmth of the sun. Feel the weight of your sadness lifting as you connect with the infinite wellspring of love and healing within you.
• Take as much time as you need in this space of healing and reflection. When you feel ready, slowly begin to deepen your breath and bring your awareness back to the present moment.
• Gently wiggle your fingers and toes, allowing yourself to reawaken to the sensations of your body. When you're ready, slowly open your eyes and take a moment to ground yourself before returning to your day
